Summary:
ASA DataFestTM started in 2011 at UCLA when “30 students gathered for 48 intense hours to help fight crime through an analysis of every arrest record of the last five years as provided by Lt. Thomas Zak of the Los Angeles Police Department.” ASA DataFestTM is now sponsored by the American Statistical Association and hosted by several of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the country. More than 1500 students take part each year.

ASA DataFestTM 2020 at Chapman University will be an intense 48-hour real-world data hackathon for undergraduate students from local universities such as UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Long Beach, USC, Chapman University and more.

Registration will be open for students until April 1, 2020, or until 100 students have registered.

Registration will be open for Mentors until April 15, 2020.
