As of January 1, 2017 the State of California adopted the 2016 California Electrical Code which is based on the 2014 National Electrical Code. We will review and discuss some of the significant changes, especially those that the speaker has had personal experience with because of work in other states. We will review some of the corrections and associated issues.
Mr. Bulut received his MBA in Finance from the University of Baltimore in 1997 and his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Akron in 1986. Mr. Bulut is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states. He is an Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer and a Senior Member of IEEE. Mr. Bulut has 30 years of project management and electrical engineering design experience. He is a recognized technical leader and electrical designer for data centers as well as other mission critical facilities. In addition to data center design, Yigit’s experience includes the design of medium and low voltage power distribution systems, emergency systems and substations for healthcare, medical laboratory, pharmaceutical, commercial and industrial facilities. His experience also includes the modeling, analysis and protection of power systems, the design of medium voltage capacitor and harmonic filter banks, medium voltage switchgear and circuit breakers.
